Janet L. Reed

In Memory of Janet Reed February 3, 1964 – October 19, 2008

Janet Reed passed away leaving a great loss to the family of The Flower Shoppe & Gift express. We will miss her deeply and will always remember the joy she brought to the shop family on a daily basis. Janet you will be greatly missed by your friends and family at the shop. God bless you and may you rest in peace.

A Trona resident for 15 years, Janet started at T.F.S. in 1979 as an apprentice after school and weekends. She attended Phil Rulloda's Southern California School of Design in Fullerton for Advanced Design. By winning a scholarship from the Southern California Floral Association, she was able to attend the Robert Gordon School Floral Arts & Science in San Luis Obispo, California. She has worked in the floral industry for 26 years and has attended many seminars for refresher courses.

Janet was rewarded for her hard work as she was featured in Home Magazine for Floral Design and a segment on Good Morning America (GMA). By her hard work and dedication, The Flower Shoppe has been one of the top 200 Flower Shops from 2000 - 2006.
